On this site, you can find many pictures I took from the fascinating world of astronomy. The objects are Sun, Moon, planets, comets, stars, galaxies, galactic and globular clusters, nebulae and many more. Enjoy! The equipment used: Celestron C11 Ultima Pec telescope Different kinds of filters and lenses Meade Pictor 416 XT CCD-camera Daystar T-scanner H-alpha solar filter system Maksutov 500 mm telelens Regular camera, lenses and colour slide film Digital camera Solar filter Thousand Oakes Solar II Plus Webcam   Most of the images were taken from Sint Odiliënberg, Limburg, in the Netherlands. The others were taken during astronomical holidays in Serres, France, where you can forget about the bad seeing at home for a few weeks. I also added a small collection of images of several professional observatories as well as American and Russian spaceflight exhibitions I have visited. I am a member of the V.S.M.L. astronomy club, Vereniging voor Sterrenkunde Midden-Limburg.
